There Is Kingdom Business
There is Kingdom Business.
We’re not used to seeing dramas about gospel music on TV, and that’s what attracted Yolanda Adams and Serayah to BET+’s new show Kingdom Business.
With the premiere of the series, we get to experience the behind-the-scenes catfights and backstabbing we’d normally see on soap operas — not at a community church in Atlanta.
Kingdom Business details the life of a gospel singer named Denita Jordan, played by world-renowned gospel music legend Yolanda Adams (who has sold more than 10 million albums). The eight-part series, executive produced by DeVon Franklin, follows Denita’s journey at First Kingdom Church and her own record label, Kingdom Records, where she’s obsessed with producing hits and staying No. 1 on the gospel charts.
